Equality Delivery System
The Equality Delivery System (EDS) sets out our commitment to taking equality and human rights into everything we do, whether that’s providing services, employing people, developing policies, communicating, consulting or involving people in our work. It incorporates the General and Public Duties within the Equality Act 2010.

The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is required to publish equality data annually. This data is incorporated into the updated EDS below (you can find detailed information on page 53 and 54). You can also find equality data.
