Newcastle Joint Research Office

The Newcastle Joint Research Office (JRO) is a partnership between Newcastle Hospitals and Newcastle University to co-ordinate skills, experience and resources to improve health and medical research projects in Newcastle.

The JRO can provide support to researchers right across the research lifecycle. This includes facilitating pre-award stage, negotiation and acceptance of contracts at award stage, and regulatory and legal research governance requirements.

The JRO can also help with advice on funding opportunities, research governance and projects management.

If you are looking to start a research project, or simply want to talk your ideas through with us, the JRO can help.
