To make it easier for patients to receive care closer to home, we offer a range of clinics outside hospital.

Clinics on offer

Depending on the type of treatment you need, you may be able to use one of the clinics we currently offer at the centre, which include:

X-ray and ultrasound Audiology (hearing aids)
Dermatology (skin)  Echocardiology heart scans (ECG) 
ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat)  Hepatology (liver) 
Ophthalmology, including glaucoma assessment  Renal anaemia (lack of red blood cells) 

If you come to the Freeman Hospital or the RVI for any of these services and would like to use the clinics at Battle Hill, please speak to your GP or the consultant dealing with your treatment.

You can also call ENT outpatients and Ophthalmology outpatients if you’re being treated there, to find out if your treatment is available at the centre.

Getting to the centre

The Battle Hill Health Centre is at Belmont Close, Wallsend, NE28 9DX.

Patients benefit from free parking and direct access by bus straight to Battle Hill Drive.
