Breast Screening at the RVI

This website provides some very useful information about the Breast Screening Service at the RVI. It contains , which you can either read on-line or print a copy of the guide relevant to your needs. Alternatively, the guides are available as leaflets/booklets  and you will be given/sent the appropriate one if you require a further appointment at the Breast Clinic.

Useful links are also provided to the Support Services, which offer both practical and emotional support. Also, your Breast Care Nurse will provide continuing support to you, your partner and your family if you have, or fear you may have, breast problems.

The breast unit also provides a special online personal information support tool that is available to all of their breast cancer patients.  It is easy to use and provides access to high quality information and patient experiences to help people understand their condition, make decisions and get further support that they may find helpful.  Patients can also add your own information to help them manage your treatment & care.  Go to the mihealth web site and use this number to register: 170464.
