Newcastle Hospitals Community Health

Annual Celebration Events

The Newcastle Hospitals’ Community Services hold an Annual Celebratory every year to truly celebrate all that their 700 plus staff do – in patients’ homes, GP Surgeries, Health Centres and many other community settings - day in, day out.

One of the main aims of the day is to showcase the Community Directorate’s many achievements over the past 12 months and make people aware of the diverse and multidisciplinary specialisms within the numerous services the Directorate provides.

Please accept our invitation to all staff to come along and join the Community Services Directorate on 13th July 2018 from 11am to 3pm in the Education Centre, Freeman Hospital to celebrate the NHS turning 70 this year.  To commemorate this milestone, the Community Services are hosting an event featuring material from the past 70 years, which will tell the story of how community based healthcare services have changed and evolved during that time.

The event will recognize the invaluable work undertaken by all our community services and offers an opportunity for you to meet the staff and find out a little more about the work we do and how we have the pleasure of being involved in patients’ lives from ‘cradle-to-grave.
