Chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (CHEST team)

The Chest team in Newcastle helps to provide early discharge from hospital for all Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease patients admitted to Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS foundation Trust.

The Chest team provides a home oxygen assessment and review service for all current and potential oxygen patients.

The service provides specialist care as well as advice and information to patients, their relatives and carers who have COPD or use home oxygen.
