NHS Breast Screening Programme
Be Breast Aware - Detecting cancer early can mean that treatment is more effective. Find out more about how to check your breasts regularly to help you detect when something's wrong at the NHS Choices website.

Breast cancer risk rises as women get older. So even though women over the age of 70 are not automatically invited for breast screening, you are still encouraged to go for screening every three years.
