"My elderly and progressively disabled mother has just spent the last 10 weeks in Ward 3 at Walkergate Hospital.  The care that the fantastic staff provided was superb.  I had the pleasure and priviledge of observing their superlative nursing care and personal consideration for other patients.  I saw first hand how staff nurtured and supported patients to the point at which they had the confidence to return home following their illness.  These elderly people are indeed fortunate to have been able to access this amazing facility".  Mrs CD
