There are a number of alarms produced by the pump.
Many of the alarms will give you the option to acknowledge or silence. Acknowledging the alarm will clear it from the screen, silencing it will keep it on the screen; the alarm will silence for two minutes and then sound again.
This will continue until the alarm is acknowledged or resolved.
High Priority Alarm: If the pump is running, and this alarm is activated, the pump will stop and the screen on the pump will turn red. The alarm must be acknowledged by pressing a key on the pump (No 5 on the diagram above). The pump will then need to be started again (using the stop/start (red/green) button). As long as the condition that triggered the pump is resolved (for example the battery was depleted and needed replacing).
Medium Priority Alarm: This alarm will not stop the pump if it is running; however the screen on the pump will turn amber until it is acknowledged. For example, when detaching the PCA remote dose cord, an alarm will sound which must be acknowledged by pressing the top left hand key (No 5 on diagram). Once this is done the pump will revert back to the home screen.
Low Priority Alarm: This alarm will not stop the pump; it is accompanied by a blue screen. The alarm will automatically clear after five seconds if it is not acknowledged, as long as the condition that triggered the alarm is resolved.
For example, disconnecting the AC Adaptor from the pump would trigger such an alarm, as would a low battery.
