Ward 11 is the North East's Regional Burns & Plastic Surgery Unit, also providing the Cleft Lip & Palate Service and Plastic Surgery Trauma.
Our Dressings Treatment Room has the world’s first 3D interactive system, to help put children at ease when receiving treatment.
How to find us

- Enter the main entrance and keep to the left hand side there you will see the lift opposite main reception desk.
- Enter the lift and select level 04 upon exiting the lift please follow the sign post for Ward 11 to your left hand side corridor follow the corridor until arriving at your destination.

- Enter the hospital from the multi-storey car park and take your immediate left keep going along the corridor past the escalators and take the next left, carry on straight ahead until you see the lifts.
- Enter the lift and select level 04 upon exiting the lift please follow the sign post for Ward 11 to your left hand side follow the corridor until arriving at your destination.

- Enter Leazes Wing main entrance, walk past the reception desk and turn right when you reach the café.
- Walk down this corridor until you reach a junction, there you will find the stairs and lifts take either of these to level 04.
- Exit the lift and take a left along the corridor follow the corridor until arriving at your destination.

The clinical team on Ward 11 includes: Doctors, Nurses, Hospital Play Specialists, Nursery Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and other support staff.
