Childrens Services

Ward 11 New Victoria Wing (GNCH)

Ward 11 is the North East's Regional Burns and Plastic Surgery Unit, and the Regional Cleft Lip and Palate Service.

We aim to provide the highest standards of care to our patients and their families, taking into consideration the emotional, social, psychological and physical needs of the child/young person and their carers. We do this by involving them in every stage of the decision-making process.

Our Dressings Treatment Room has the world’s first 3D interactive system, to help put children at ease when receiving treatment.
