Childrens Services

Ward 1b New Victoria Wing (GNCH)

Ward 1B is a regional neuroscience unit that looks after children who need medical and surgical care.

We specialise in the treatment and rehabilitation of children with head injuries.

Working closely with families

The ward has 13 beds and includes a base for Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy services, which is important to support children’s rehabilitation.

We work extremely closely with families and carers, with the support of an experienced team with a range of experience, and we encourage families to get involved in their child’s care at all times.
