Information for the dental practitioner:

Referrals can be made to Newcastle Dental Hospital who will accept patients that are IOTN 4 and above that require complex or interdisciplinary orthodontic treatment.  The waiting time for assessment is 8-12 weeks, treatment options will be discussed at this appointment.

Newcastle Dental Hospital has reached its quota for patients for treatment within the MOrth/MSc orthodontic specialist training programme.  The next intake of trainees will be in 2019, and we will update this webpage in late 2018 when we are likely to start actively recruiting.  Many thanks for previous expressions of interest however we are not currently accepting referrals for treatment under this scheme.

Please note - a referral from a dental practitioner is required to access any of the above services.
