Dermojet Clinic

The Dermojet is a special instrument which allows all types of liquid treatments to be injected into the skin without the use of a needle and is therefore painless.

The Dermojet Service is offered if you need a course of steroids to treat  a range of common skin conditions such as:

  • alopecia
  • granuloma annulare
  • nodular lichenification (nodular prurigo) and
  • keloid scar.  

Your prescribed course of steroid injections will be given by a qualified nurse using the Dermojet.


Staff you are likely to meet

The Dermojet Clinic is led by Sister Sarah Rushton.  You will be assessed by one of the nurses who will give you your treatment as prescribed by one of our consultant dermatologists or a member of his or her team.

Things you need to know

  • You will be given a leaflet on how to care for the treated area, together with contact details should you have any further concerns.
  • A WRVS refreshment bar is available in main out patients during most clinic times.
  • There is loop system fitted at the Yellow Zone reception and a TV in the waiting area.
