Patch Test Clinic

We hold a special Patch Test Clinic to help diagnose the causes of problematic skin allergies.

If you have patch testing you will need to return within a week for assessment, follow up testing and to agree treatment.

The clinic is run on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm.

The Patch Test Clinic is based in the Yellow Zone of Dermatology outpatients on the ground floor of the Royal Victoria Infirmary.  To find us:

  • Come through the main entrance on Queen Victoria Road and turn right into the main outpatient department.
  • Walk through main outpatients onto the basement corridor, turn left and the clinic is in the Yellow Zone.
  • Walk up the ramp and report to the reception desk.

Dr Speight, Consultant Dermatologist is responsible for the running of each Patch Test Clinic and is assisted by other clinical and nursing staff. You will be seen by one of our consutlants or a member of their team.

Things you need to know

 

  • There is a WRVS refreshment bar available in main outpatients during most clinic times.
