I am writing to you about my stay in the RVI in Ward 40 on January 3rd and 4th 2007, when I was having a minor operation under the care of Dr Brown.
I would like you to know how hard working, tactful and supportive the staff were. The two staff nurses Jilly Goodfellow and Angela Black worked with the other staff as a team and I was surprised to see them both involved in cleaning the beds and lockers as well as serving coffees and meals. The medical care they gave was excellent, dealing with the most embarrassing tasks with tact and humour.
I was impressed by their attitude to ensuring everyone was comfortable and pain free. I don’t think I have ever felt so cared for and important as an individual ever before in a hospital.
I know patients often will complain and so I felt that is was important that I wrote to compliment all the staff on working so hard to ensure patients were well cared for and happy.
