The Regional Immunology and Allergy Unit runs a wide range of clinics to assess, investigate and manage immune system disorders and allergic conditions including the following:
- Immunoglobulin Infusion Clinic
- Primary Immunodeficiency Clinic
- Auto immune Disease Clinic
- Medical and Nurse Led Allergy Assessment Clinic
- Immunotherapy Clinic
- Epi-pen® Clinic
- Chronic Fatigue Clinic

How to find us
The Regional Immunology & Allergy Unit is located on the Ground Floor of Leazes Wing
Directions from Leazes WingShow [+] Hide [-]
- Enter the hospital through Leazes Wing main entrance and at the Leazes Wing Reception Desk turn right.
- The Regional Immunology & Allergy Unit is situated immediately on the right opposite the Endoscopy Unit.
Directions from Claremont Multi-Storey Car ParkShow [+] Hide [-]
- Enter The New Victoria Wing via Level 4 of the multi storey car park.
- Turn left and continue down corridor to the café area on the left and stairs on the right.
- Walk up the flight of stairs located beside the Medicinema to Level 3.
- At top of the stairs turn left and follow the corridor past the X-Ray Dept to Leazes Wing.
- On entering Leazes Wing continue down the corridor towards the coffee shop.
- The Regional Immunology & Allergy Unit is situated immediately on the left, opposite the Endoscopy Unit.

- Enter the hospital through the Queen Victoria Road entrance, go up the escalator and then up a flight of stairs located beside the Medicinema to Level 3.
- At top of the stairs turn left and follow the corridor past the X-Ray Dept to Leazes Wing.
- On entering Leazes wing continue down the corridor towards the coffee shop.
- The Regional Immunology & Allergy Unit is situated immediately on the left, opposite the Endoscopy Unit.
If you would prefer to use the lifts in the New Victoria Wing:
- Enter the hospital through Queen Victoria Road entrance, using lifts to Level 3 New Victoria Wing.
- Turn left onto main corridor then turn right and follow the corridor past the X-Ray Dept to Leazes Wing.
- On entering Leazes Wing continue down the corridor towards the coffee shop.
- The Regional Immunology & Allergy Unit is situated immediately on the left, opposite the Endoscopy Unit.
Staff you are likely to meet
The unit is run by specialist clinicians and nurses who carry out a range of investigations and treatments and can offer support and advice to help you manage your condition.
Things you need to know
- Please bring a list of your usual medication with you to the clinic.
- Please also bring a urine sample in a small container.
- Please note that The Regional Immunology & Allergy Unit is a latex free Unit.
