Breastfeeding is the best start in life for your baby and has long term health benefits for you too.
This workshop offers a comprehensive look at the benefits of breastfeeding, tips on correct attachment and advice about avoiding common problems.
We will discuss newborn behaviour and feeding cues, how your milk increases in response to your baby's growth, expressing and storing breast milk and thinking about returning to work.
This workshop takes about two and a half hours on some Wednesday afternoons and is for mums-to-be only.
Please note that your community midwife may be able to offer this session in your local area.
