Elective Caesarean Section Session

This session is offered to women from 34 weeks in their pregnancy who are having their baby delivered by elective caesarean section. It is a one off session held some Thursday afternoons.
It is an opportunity to meet a midwife, physiotherapist and anaesthetist who will provide information about what to expect, the choices for type of anaesthetic and recovery following the surgery.
