The tour of the Maternity Unit is offered to anyone parents who plan to have maternity care here at the RVI.
The aim is for you to see the facilities we offer here including Maternity Assessment Unit which is where people are seen and assessed for many different reasons. We aim to visit the Delivery Suite where labour and birth care is provided, our Birthing Pool Rooms and also a brief visit to the postnatal wards. You will get a chance to ask any questions you may have at the time.
The sessions last just over an hour and are currently held on a weekday evening. Booking is essential as places are limited.
