Using water for Labour and Birth

Using warm water can help labour unfold in a natural and more manageable way.  At the RVI we have two large baths or birth pools that you can use either for pain relief in labour or to give birth.

During this session you will get the chance to talk to a midwife about the benefits of water in labour and we will visit the delivery suite to see one of the pool rooms.

This session is held on some Thursday afternoons at 1.00pm and partners are most welcome.  However we are sorry we have no facilities for children.
