Breastfeeding Session

Breastfeeding provides the best start in life for your baby and has long term health benefits for you and your baby too.

This session offers a detailed look at the benefits of breastfeeding, how breast milk is made, how to breastfeed your baby and advice about avoiding common problems.

This session runs for two hours on some Thursday afternoons and is for women only. We also offer a different session for those women who prefer to come with their partner.

If you already know you want to breastfeed or even if you just more information in order to help you decide please come along.

  • Please note that your community midwife may be able to offer this session in your local area.
