Medical Physics and Bioengineering Services

The Medical Physics Department within the Newcastle Hospitals Trust is a regional centre of scientific, technical and community support. We are the largest such department in the UK, providing a diverse range of routine and specialist services for adults and children.

Our specialist clinical scientists and engineers combine their expertise with an innovative approach to old and new technologies and treatments, and are dedicated to providing a safe, high quality service to all who come to its centres at the Freeman, Newcastle General and the Royal Victoria Infirmary hospitals.
