Neuroradiology

The Neuroradiology Department is based in the Regional Neurosciences Centre at the Newcastle General Hospital, and is run by a highly specialist and experienced multi-disciplinary team of radiologists, radiographers and nurses.

To ensure you receive the best possible care, we use state of the art diagnostic equipment including MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) and CT (Computerised Tomography) scanners, and each patient’s case is reviewed by a multi-disciplinary team of neuroradiologists, neurosurgeons and neurologists.
