How to find us

Directions to New Victoria Wing (RVI Outpatients)Show [+] Hide [-]

The New Victoria Wing is situated next to the Great North Children's Hospital - the large circular, copped clad building which you can see from Queen Victoria Road.

You will be able to gain access to the clinics in the New Victoria Wing in two ways:

  • From Queen Victoria Road walking straight ahead of you and entering main entrance of the tall, vertical, glass enclosed Atrium.
  • Alternatively, you can enter the new buidling via the Multi Storey Car Park - you will see signs directing you to the access point from Level 2.

As you approach the New Victoria Wing  you will see signs giving directions for where you need to go depending on which clinic or service you have come for.  There will be directions throughout the building to help you find your way around and a receptionist will also be availble to help you with any enquiries you might have.

How to get to the hospital

Staff you are likely to meet

The clinical team in the outpatient department includes the consultants and their team of doctors, nurses and other support staff.

Please note that as we are a teaching hospital there may be students attending the clinic.

Things you need to know

  • If you require ambulance transport to your outpatient appointment, please contact your GP who can arrange this for you.
  • There are cafes available during clinic times serving hot and cold drinks and snacks.
  • There are a number of 'pay and display' parking spaces nearby, on Queen Victoria Road and Richardson Road, and we have a multi-storey car park which you can also access via Queen Victoria Road.
