Stores and distribution

Located on the Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVI) site, the RVI Pharmacy Stores and Distribution Centre (PDC) serves as a central receiving, storage and distribution point for pharmaceutical goods for the RVI. It is also the dispatch point for goods supplied to other Trust sites and outside healthcare organisations. The Freeman Hospital is supported by a large on-store Pharmacy Store.

Our pharmacy technicians and assistants visit the wards and departments on a scheduled basis and co-ordinate the ordering and supply of stock pharmaceutical items to all wards and departments.
