Information film about Videofluoroscopy Assessment appointments

If it is decided that your child would benefit from a “talking x-ray assessment” (Videofluoroscopy), this short film has been made to show you and your child what happens when you come to the clinic.

We would like you to watch the film with your child, and talk about what is happening. There are some short speech tasks in the film which you and your child can practice along with to prepare your child for the day. Sometimes we may ask your child to say slightly different things on the day, but they will only be asked to do this with the support of the Speech and Language Therapist who will be at the clinic with you.
