This is where you will be seen as an outpatient by our team. We also hold the regional Trauma clinic here. The department is based in the New Victoria Wing of the RVI.
Ward 47 is our specialist inpatient unit. Our nurses are trained within Plastic Surgery and have specialist skills in order to care for our patients.
Ward 37 is the Regional Burns Centre for adults and can be found in Leazes Wing at the RVI. Here we provide highly specialised care for our patients.
Our laser suite is situated in the New Victoria Wing of the RVI. We perform a wide range of specialist procedures here on an outpatient basis.
Ward 39 is where the majority of patients are cared for that are having day surgery with us. It can be found in Leazes Wing.
Our young patients that need to stay in hospital will stay on Ward 11 in the Great North Children's Hospital.
