The Plastic Surgery Outpatient Department is led by plastic surgeons and nurses and the following clinics are held here:
- Consultant led clinics
- Physiotherapy clinic which runs concurrently with our specialist hand clinics
- Scar management clinic which runs concurrently with our burns clinic
- Nurse specialist led clinics for breast reconstruction, wound care, lymphoedema and camouflage.

The Plastic Surgery Out-Patients Department is based on level one of the New Victoria Wing, Queen Victoria Road. To find us:
- The pedestrian entrance leads to Level 1.
- On entering the building, the department is immediately on the right side, signposted ‘Plastic Surgery and Hand Unit’.

- On entering the New Victoria Wing from this car park, please take lift, stairs or escalator down to Level 1.
- The department is signposted ‘Plastic Surgery and Hand Unit’.
Opening times
Outpatient clinic opening times are:
- Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
On arrival at the department, please check in at reception, and then take a seat in the waiting area.
(Patients attending for physiotherapy only, need not check in at reception.)
Please be aware that as multiple clinics run consecutively, these areas can become extremely busy, especially during the arrival of emergency trauma cases in the morning.
Staff you are likely to meet
The Plastic Surgery Outpatient Department is led by Sister Catherine Carr and the team includes medical and nursing staff, clinical nurse specialists, physiotherapists and other support staff.
Things you need to know
- There are hot drinks and refreshments available on Levels 1 & 2 of the New Victoria Wing.
- The nearest parking is the multi storey car park off Queen Victoria Road.
- If you require ambulance transport to your outpatient appointment, please contact your GP who can arrange this for you.
