Some of our procedures
Below we have listed just a few of the procedures we carry out, it is possible to have combinations of procedures e.g. Tummy Tuck and Face Lift.
- Blephroplasty (Eye Bags) Upper and / or Lower
The effects of ageing and tiredness can be most apparent around the eyes. Skin loses its elasticity and you may develop excess loose skin giving a 'hooded effect', the muscles slacken, fat accumulates below the eyes causing a bags effect. Surgery to remove the excess skin and fat can give a more youthful appearance.
- Rhinoplasty
Rhinoplasty is an operation to reshape the nose. The operation can be carried out to improve appearance, perhaps after it has been broken, or if you feel it is too flat (an implant can be used) or too big. A Rhinoplasty when combined with other procedures can help to relieve nasal blockages, breathing problems and snoring.
- Breast Augmentation
There can be a number of factors that cause the size and shape of a woman's breasts to change: breastfeeding, age, inherited characteristics can all have an effect. Women who are unhappy with the size of their breasts may find a breast augmentation (implants) operation can help their self confidence. At your consultation your Consultant will discuss with and show you examples of the different sorts of implants available so that you can choose the most appropriate for you.
- Breast Reduction
The weight of large breasts can cause medical disorders such as back and neck pain. A reduction will reduce the size and weight of the breasts and make them firmer. It will involve the re-positioning of the nipples.
- Breast Lift (Mastopexy)
Breasts can sag and droop with age; a breast uplift will raise and re shape the breasts. It can be carried out where the woman is happy with the size of her breasts but wants to reduce loose and sagging skin. This operation is often combined with an Augmentation.
- Facial Aesthetics
A face lift can involve the whole face or sometimes only the brow, neck or lower face is lifted.
- Abdominoplasty
After significant weight loss (such as Bariatric surgery - see previous page), or pregnancy you can be left with excess fat and skin. The Abdominoplasty removes this and the Surgeon may tighten your stomach muscles, generally giving a smoother look and can also improve the appearance of stretch marks.
- Thigh and Buttock Lift
After significant weight loss there can be loose sagging skin that cannot be improved with exercise. A buttock lift will raise and tighten the skin.
