Victoria Wing X-ray Royal Victoria Infirmary

The Radiology Department in the New Victoria Wing located on Level 3 is connected to the existing x-ray department in Leazes Wing.

All x-ray rooms use the latest DR digital detectors providing superior quality images almost instantly. Gone are the days of leaving the patient whilst images are being processed on x-ray films. As soon as the image is accepted by the attending radiographer, it can be accessed on any x-ray system throughout the hospital - on wards, in clinics and in the Emergency Department.
