Thank you letter to staff in Vascular Unit Freeman Hospital

"My husband has been a patient in the Freeman Hospital this week and I am writing to congratulate all the staff that looked after him for a job well done.  He started at OPD seeing Mr Clarke the vascular surgeon.  We hardly had time to sit down when we were seen.  Very efficient indeed.  All staff being very professional.  We were then given a date for operation for the next week !! Fantastic !

On the morning of the operation he was admitted to the day unit and was looked after very well by Emma (a nurse covering maternity leave) ... again excellent treatment.  Next the operation which lasted 3 hours and very professional care followed by a night in recovery and looked after by Angela and Lisa.  We couldn't fault any minute of this care.  After being transferred to Ward 8 the next day we once again had tremendous care.  

We both cannot thank you all enough.  In the light of all the adverse publicity regarding hospitals at the moment it is nice to know that your hospital hasn't failed in any way.  Please pass on our thanks to your staff."  Mr & Mrs DF

Thank you letter to staff on Ward 7 Freeman Hospital

"I am writing on behalf of my mother, the wife of AB who was a patient of yours.  My father had an aneurysm and you operated on him in late May.  Though the operation was a success, sadly my father died just before he was due to be transferred.  My mother, myself and my sisters remain very grateful to all the staff involved in looking after my father for their kindness, and for the quality of care my father received, particularly in the intensive care unit.  We would very much like to thank all the doctors and nurses who took care of him, and were so helpful and considerate to us, his family.  I know my father would have wanted to thank you all too if he was still with us."  Ms SB

"To all the staff on Ward 8 and ICC unit.  I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone, all the doctors, nurses, cleaners, porters, in fact all of you at the Freeman Hospital who gave me excellent care and attention and showed me such kindness.  I was rushed into the Freeman with a stomach aneurysm and my treatment and care were first class.  Many thanks to you all".  Mr AA
