Surgical Services

Ward 12 Freeman Hospital

Ward 12 is the Regional Liver Unit which mainly provides care for people requiring medical or surgical treatment for a large range of liver problems.

We also see patients waiting for liver transplantation, and care for them through to discharge after their transplant.

The ward has close links with LIVErNORTH, a North East charity dedicated to raising funds to help those with liver-related conditions.
