Undergoing surgery can be a daunting event in any situation. When patients travel from overseas to The Institute of Transplantation we provide an International Patient Co-ordinator to ensure that everything is straight-forward for patients, so they have as little to worry about as possible.
The Co-ordinator will provide all support necessary including liaising with the hospital, provide all the necessary translation services if needed, and organise accommodation for patients and any family members who may accompany the donor or recipient pair.
