Ward 3 Freeman Hospital

Ward 3 is an adult urology ward which provides care for people requiring treatment for a range of complex conditions affecting the male and female urinary tract. These can involve the kidneys, ureter, bladder, prostate, urethra, and the male reproductive system.
We tend to admit patients to the ward the day before the planned procedure. Your length of hospital stay will depend upon the type of surgery you have. If you need emergency treatment for a urological problem you may also be admitted to Ward 3

Ward Three is based at the Freeman Hospital. To find us:
- Come through the Main Entrance and follow the main corridor, passing the shop and hairdressers until you reach the end.
- Turn left and take the lift or stairs to level 3 and follow the sign for Ward Three.
Staff you are likely to meet
The clinical team on Ward 3 includes specialist urologists and nursing staff, who are supported by a team of experienced healthcare professionals and other support staff.
Things you need to know
- Please do not bring fresh flowers onto the ward. This is to help with infection control.
