Biography

I am a graduate of Edinburgh University and undertook clinical training in Edinburgh, Dundee and Newcastle. My specialist training in diabetes and endocrinology was in Newcastle. In 1985 I was appointed Senior Lecturer and Honorary Consultant. I am currently also the Director of the Newcastle Magnetic Resonance Centre from 2006.
