    I have a special interest in the development of new anti-cancer drugs, in particular for patients with lung cancer. My research assesses the usefulness of blood tests to monitor how the cancer responds to treatment.

  • Biography

    I joined the NCCC in 2014 after 8 years spent at the University of Manchester/ Christie Hospital.  In 2009 I completed a PhD in the usefulness of blood tests to measure cancer cell death before I was appointed as a Clinical Lecturer; completing medical oncology training, conducting early clinical trials unit at the Christie and performing biomarker research at The Paterson Institute for Cancer Research.

    Prior to this I have worked at oncology units in the Marsden (London), Edinburgh and New Zealand.
