  • Biography

I graduated from Leeds in 1998 and trained in the Yorkshire region.  I was an advanced fellow at the Freeman Hospital in 2009 and then moved to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

I was a crucial part of the HPB team and ran the advanced endoscopy service, including biliary manometry, biliary RFA and Spyglass.  I was also part of the team that set up and ran the multidisciplinary chronic pancreatitis clinic.  I have continued to contribute to the area of pancreaticobiliary medicine and have published a number of papers and reviews in this area.

In June 2015 I moved back to the Freeman Hospital, Newcastle upon Tyne to join the HPB team.  My main areas of interest are advanced EUS/ERCP, exocrine pancreatic function and bile acid disorders.
