Audiology and Hearing Aid Service
Our highly skilled and experienced Audiologists provide a comprehensive Audiology and Hearing Aid Service for the Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland region.
We provide a range of specialist tests and individual management plans for the following services:
- Adult Audiology Service
- Bone anchored hearing aid service
- Children's Audiology Service
- Diagnostic Newborn Hearing Assessment
- Hearing Therapy
- Tinnitus Clinic
- Vestibular Service
Services across the region
The main Audiology Department is based at the Freeman Hospital, but we also work at a number of other local hospitals meaning you may not have to travel a long distance to be seen. We provide services at:
- Alnwick Infirmary
- Union Brae Surgery, Berwick upon Tweed
- Corbridge Health Centre
- Manor Walks, Cramlington
- Hexham General Hospital
- The Mount, Morpeth
- North Tyneside General Hospital
We also perform hearing assessments for consultant-led clinics at Alnwick Infirmary, Benfield Park, Corbridge, Cramlington, Hexham General Hospital, The Mount, Morpeth, North Tyneside General Hospital, Great North Children's Hospital - Royal Victoria Infirmary and Union Brae Surgery.
As well as these ENT clinics, we perform adult hearing aid fittings at the following health centres: Alnwick Infirmary, Benfield Park, Corbridge, Cramlington, The Mount, Morpeth, and the Belsay Unit @ the Centre for Ageing and Vitality.
