The Acute Hand - Infections, Injuries and Regional Anaesthesia
26th November 2020

Venue: Anatomy & Clinical Skills
Centre, Newcastle University, NE1 4LP.

One day comprehensive course for trainees, covering all major aspects of acute hand injuries and a range of hand infections. Experience Doppler examination of brachial plexus on volunteers and an opportunity to examine hand specimens and strengthen your knowledge on the anatomy of the hand.

  • Examination of the Hand
  • Reading X-rays
  • Physiotherapy and splintage
  • Management of fractures and dislocations
  • Management of mutilated hand injuries
  • Approved for 8 CME points (BAPRAS)

Course fees:  £100 (inc. Lunch and refreshments) to be booked by the 15th November 2020.    Early bird deal  - £80, if booked by the 30th October 2020.
